Barnsbury

Friel Welch was appointed to support the procurement and consultant tendering strategy for Phase 1B of the Barnsbury regeneration masterplan, a large-scale, multi-phase residential development delivering more than 1,100 homes in partnership with Newlon Housing Trust.

Phase 1B comprises 340 residential units alongside resident amenity and facilities space, forming part of the wider transformation of the Barnsbury Estate. Our role focused on facilitating the tender and appointment of the Stage 3 consultant design team ahead of detailed design commencement.

Working closely with Mount Anvil's technical team, we coordinated consultant procurement across multiple disciplines including architecture, structures, MEP, landscape, fire engineering, acoustics, BIM, utilities and Building Safety Act peer review services.
