The Grange

Friel Welch is the project manager for The Grange, a 7,000 sq ft multigenerational home in Swalcliffe, in the Cotswolds. Our appointment covers full project management for the refurbishment, extension and turnkey fit-out, bringing the main house, ancillary accommodation and wider landscape together as one private residential project.

The scheme combines works to the main house with a self-contained annex, underground parking, a wildflower meadow and a wild-swimming pond. This breadth of scope calls for the requirements of the house and its setting to be considered together as the project moves towards construction.

Our role as project manager

With planning permission granted, Friel Welch is managing the pre-commencement planning conditions to support a coordinated transition into construction. Our work connects the planning requirements with the preparations needed for delivery across the refurbishment, extension and fit-out.
