A year of growth: Friel Welch in 2025

With 2026 underway, it is a good moment to look back on a strong year at Friel Welch.

The year saw us deliver across a broad and increasingly complex portfolio. In the fit-out sector, we completed a state-of-the-art residents' amenity hub in Central London on behalf of Woodvalley Builders, and progressed the larger resident facilities at Heron Wharf toward handover. In bespoke residential, work advanced on new-build and refurbishment schemes across the Cotswolds and the Home Counties, including the single-storey new-build at Stone Barn House with CODE. Architects.

Alongside live delivery, much of our year went into pre-construction and technical work: cost planning and procurement on private residences, and programme, coordination and Gateway 2 support on residential and mixed-use developments moving through the Building Safety Act regime.

We also grew the team, welcoming Ranjeet Dhanjal as an Associate and adding depth across our design, technical and commercial disciplines.

None of it happens without our clients, collaborators and design partners, and we are grateful for the trust and the hard work behind a good year. We head into 2026 with a strong pipeline and plenty to build on.
